MAGDALENA MITAS FROM MAGNUSSON WARSAW AMONG ENERGY SECTOR’S DISTINGUISHED EXPERTS

Magdalena Mitas, who heads up the Energy and Infrastructure Practice at Magnusson Warsaw, took part in a debate concluding this year’s – 7th edition of the Energy Academy.

The Energy Academy is a unique forum for young talents interested in the energy sector, an educational project organised by Lesław A. Paga Foundation, attracting participants from largest companies in the sector. It is addressed to students and graduates who see themselves as working in this sector in the future. The aim of the event is to bring different circles together and allow young professionals to benefit from the knowledge and experience of the experts.

Magnusson Warsaw was the content Partner of this year’s edition of the Academy.

The final debate brought together representatives of institutions and companies involved in the Polish energy sector. Apart from Magdalena Mitas, discussion participants included, among others, dr Dariusz Dzirba, director of the Research and Development Department at PGNiG; dr Dawid Klimczak, President of the Management Board of Enea Trading; dr Tomasz Żołyniak, President of the Management Board of Energia Polska; Piotr Obrycki, Director of the Research and Development Office of PKP Energetyka; and dr Ryszard Stefański, Director of the Development Department of EWE Polska.

The discussion concerned such issues as electricity generation adequacy, e-mobility, and air quality, also in the context of cities, as well as the importance of digitalisation for the future of the energy sector.

The gala event closing this year’s edition took place at the Warsaw Stock Exchange on 27 June 2018.
